Hi! My name is Judy Lutz, and I have been teaching for 19 years. I taught at a public school for 13 years and at our school for 8. I have taught both of my own children as well. I have been fortunate enough to teach grades 1,2,3, and 4. I was also a writing teacher. Teaching various grade levels has opened my eyes to where students come from and where they need to go! Our first grade theme is, WE'LL BLOOM THIS YEAR! I love watching all the wonderful ways first graders bloom! My favorite though is hearing the children learn to read! Their excitement is contagious! I want the children to understand that God has given them many gifts, and that we all bloom at different times and in different ways! My goal is to provide children with an academically strong learning environment that incorporates a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all the children. I want the children to develop an intrinsic love of learning! My classroom is full of "hands on" learning activities within a structured environment. I encourage participation from every child. We play many learning games to reinforce concepts. I encourage open communication with all my parents. If we work together, we can meet the needs of your child and he/she will succeed! Many blessings to you all! Mrs. Lutz
